Prof Dr Ferdinand Piëch and university undergrads from Wien visit Győr
0 commentsProf Dr Ferdinand Piëch, President of Volkswagen AG’s Supervisory Board and students from the Wien University of Technology have recently paid a visit to Audi Hungaria Motor Kft.
Prof Dr Ferdinand Piëch visited the construction area, the R4 production site and the Széchenyi István University Internal Combustion Engine Department. Similarly to previous years, the visit did not become public only until after the visit had been over.
After the factory visit, the 130 undergraduate students took part in a workshop and various trainings within the theme of engine development, engine building and APS knowledge.
The programme, stretching well into the evening, is popular among the students every year, as they can get a glimpse into the operation of the company, the variety of tasks, and through these they can get to know the requirements of Audi Hungaria toward engineers.
