AVL Hungary Technical Center Kft expands
AVL Hungary Technical Center Kft, the Hungarian subsidiary of Graz-based automotive developer AVL Group, is currently carrying out a staff expansion and various other developments at its site in Budapest, said CEO Dirk Jatzko on Wednesday at a press conference in Budapest. The subsidiary, operating in Hungary for ten years, is currently the employer of 111 people, more than 90% of which are highly trained engineers; this number will be increased to 150 by the end of the year. Rába: best production results for last 10 years
Rába’s income in the fourth quarter of 2011 has been the highest since 2008. Looking at the whole year, besides the 9.9% growth, the company registered a 39.3 billion HUF income and 3.85 billion HUF EBITDA. Each of the company’s three business branches was successful on the level of production. The significant growth, exploiting the expansion of foreign markets, was contributed to by the 15% increase of running-gear manufacture and the 11% rise in the component-manufacturing branch. KSH: transport industry as the driver for industrial output in 2011
In December 2011, industrial gross output rose by 2.1% compared to the same month of 2010, the low base also played a role in the moderate increase. Mercedes to produce cars for customers in Kecskemét from March
