Test circuit for autonomous vehicles to be built in Zalaegerszeg
Hungary is on the verge of becoming a definitive location of automotive innovation and playing a significant role in the research and development of autonomous vehicles, National Economy minister Mihály Varga said on Thursday at the Cars of the Future (A jövő autói) conference.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also took part in the event, who announced a new test track for autonomous vehicles to be built in the town of Zalaegerszeg.
According to Orbán, the large-scale investment will allow for the testing of driver-less cars in artificial conditions, contributing to bringing us closer the latest innovations in mobility and allowing Hungary to profit from the era of digital transfer.
