Rosenberger to expand production capacity and staff in Hungary
The Hungarian subsidiary of Rosenberger, a German manufacturer of connectors and data transmission devices, will expand its production capacity and create 250 new jobs in Járokszállás with a HUF 3.5 billion investment, it was announced at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on Monday.
In the next two years, Rosenberger Hungary will build a new, 5,000-square-metre production hall and install equipment featuring the latest technologies.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in his speech at the announcement that German investments play a definitive role in the Hungarian economy.
German firms provide the livelihood of some 300,000 people in Hungary, and account for almost quarter of all foreign operating capital in Hungary with a value of EUR 20 billion.
