New logistics park to be built in Kecskemét
MetLog Logistic Center, a new logistics facility, is currently being built in the close vicinity of the Kecskemét Mercedes plant.
The logistics centre, built with a HUF 1.125 billion investment and located at Metropolisz Industrial Area, 600 metres from the Mercedes manufacturing plant, is expected to be handed over by the end of the year.

The project, dubbed MetLog2, is a 5,000-square-metre facility with a 900-square-metre office area. The logistics centre also includes a high-capacity car park, said Zoltán Petrik, sales manager of In-Management Kft.
Petrik hopes the vicinity of the Mercedes plant will attract several automotive suppliers to the logistics centre. He said the investor, Risk Capital Kft., is set to create 4–5 new jobs directly and 15–20 new workplaces indirectly through the investment.
