Lamborghini parts manufactured at Tatabánya-based laser lab
The high-tech laboratory of Edutus College is used for educational and research purposes as well as industrial applications, including the manufacturing of complex body parts for certain Lamborghini cars.
This week we paid a visit to the laboratory, which also manufactures purpose-built Lamborghini body parts for Audi Hungaria using high-tech laser machining technology.
Gábor Vavra, the lab's head, showed us an equipment park unique in Hungary and Central Eastern Europe. At the heart of the laboratory is a 4,000W Trump Trulaser Cell 7020 machine that was purchased two years ago. This machine alone is worth approximately HUF 400 billion (€1.3 billion).
