Hungarian investment agency to summon major automotive players

The Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) will hold an automotive conference on March 10. In addition to OEMs with a Hungarian presence, the largest suppliers will also participate in the event.

Gerd Walker, director of Audi Hungaria Motor Kft. responsible for vehicle production, will evaluate the year 2014, to be followed by an account by Magyar Suzuki Zrt. CEO Ryoichi Oura and Ekkehard Philipp, director of Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary Kft. responsible for finances.

The presentations will be concluded by Tamás Solt, CEO of Opel Szentgotthárd Kft., and Javier Gonzáles Pareja, CEO of Robert Bosch Kft.

Participants will also take part in panel discussions in two separate sections. One of the sections will be concerned with tyre, rubber, plastic, electronics, interiors manufacturing and financing, while the other will be engaged in the issues of engine and car body manufacturing, metalworking and financing.

The panel discussions will be attended by major Hungary-based players such as Continental Hungaria, Simon Műanyagfeldolgozó és Fémtömegcikkgyártó, SMR, Videoton, Csaba Metál, Pata József Gépipari Kft. and the Audi Hungaria Department of Internal Combustion Engines from Széchenyi István University of Győr.

Attendance is free of charge, but registration is required.
